One more positive case in Vizag toll rises to 4


The cases of confirmed COVID-19 till Thursday were 11 in the state and now it rises to 12 with one more positive case in Visakhapatnam.
Previously there were three cases from Visakhapatnam with the positive COVID-19 now it climbs to 4.
With the sample testing positive in a lab in Kakinada, the new case is a person who came in contact with the already affected case of COVID-19 earlier.He used to work as a contractor and came down from London on March 17 to his home which is in Padmanabham mandal, Visakhapatnam district developed symptoms after few days and was admitted in hospital on March 21 was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Friday. It is said he had contact with seven other people.
On Friday, this news was confirmed by Dr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy, Chief Secretary of Health, Medical and Family welfare department.
The CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged people to stay indoors and not to panic, as of now the state is increasing the number of wards and are in a process to set up about 2680 ICU and 330 ventilators. There are about 13 private medical colleges which are being converted into wards for the patients. The number of beds are about 23,479.
