When we look back our eyes fill with tears as exactly a year back we lost our 40 brave Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans in the Pulwama attack. It was a cowardly act attempted by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), a terrorist organization. It was in a blink of an eye when the suicide bomber rammed into one of the convoys carrying explosives.
The pain hasn’t healed and the wound seems fresh and having this in mind tributes were paid all over. And one of the Kin of CRPF personnel was felicitated in Visakhapatnam as he belonged to this city. On the eve K. Hari Babu, BJP MP honored the families of CRPF who lost their lives in different operations, and they belonged from AP.
Recalling the importance, A. Srinivas CRPF Southern sector DIG said “Also the CRPF is one of the largest paramilitary force, which was started in 1939 with one battalion, now has 247 battalions. Duties are many ranging from maintaining law and order to fight all evils like terrorism, Naxalism and providing protection to key leaders,”
