On the dawn of the 25th year of Rotary club Visakha port city, the mantle of change took on new guard at the club today. Rtn Capt R S Kali Prasad took over as Silver Jubilee President and Rtn Vithal Prasad as Secretary, other board members were also installed by Rotary International District Governor Elect Rotarian M Rama Rao.

In his acceptance speech, President Capt Kali Prasad said that it’s now more important to take care of one self and then educate to take care during COVID and said that Rotary Club Visakha Port City will start a diagnostic centre with minimal charge for the poor.

Emphasising the need for healthcare infrastructure, Rotary International District-3020 Governor Elect M Rama Rao said we have to start big and sustainable projects such as Dialysis centres, Blood banks etc which will make an impact and serve the needy on long term basis.

The event was live on Zoom and all other members actively participated. Member of Legislative Council, PVN Madhav, Rotary District -3020 Governor Rtn M Satish Babu & Rotary District-3020 Chief Advisor Sam Movva addressed the new team via zoom.
