S.S Rajmouli makes it official that “RRR” will not be released this Sankranthi 2021 season. The new release date depends on when they can be able to resume the shooting post lockdown.
COVID-19 has created a havoc among various industries over the country and has given no exception to the film industries too. The dynamic director Rajamouli has declared that the most awaited “RRR” movie cannot be relased this sankranti disappointing the fans as shooting has been stopped due to the lockdown.
He has initially decided to shoot the remaining portion of the movie in Pune and other parts of North India.
Rajamouli shot the movie for two days in Pune earlier but the shoot had been cancelled when Ram Charan got injured his ankle while working out at a gym in Pune.
The same portions now will be filmed in Hyderabad itself by erecting sets considering the COVID-19 situation in Maharashtra as it remains the No.1 state with highest positive cases of corona reported in India.
“RRR” movie features junior NTR and Ram Charan as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju respectively. The film is being directed by S.S. Rajamouli and produced by DVV Danayya.
The new release dates will be announced only when the shoot resumes post lockdown.
