In some great news for fans of South Indian actor Siddharth, the actor will be returning to Tollywood after eight long years! The brilliant star, who was last seen in Jabardasth, is all set for a comeback to Tollywood with Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Mahasamudram. The 41-year-old actor’s Telugu comeback film, which is being directed by RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi, will also star actor Sharwanand as one of the leads.
News of Siddharth’s comeback was out when the actor took to social media to confirm his return to Tollywood. He posted a picture of himself in the air, donning a grey suit with a white tee. With his picture, he wrote, “On my, #Telugu set after 8 years today on the 8th of December. Feels amazing. Thanks for the lovely welcome @AnilSunkara1 and @DirAjayBhupathi. Let’s do this and do it right! #Mahasamudram @ImSharwanand”.
Siddharth’s last Telugu outing was Jabardasth (2013), costarring Samantha Akkineni, directed by Nandini Reddy. He was last seen on screen in the Tamil horror-thriller Aruvam, where he played Jagannathan, an honest and sincere food safety officer harassed for doing his job.
