Simhachalam temple imposes Covid-19 curbs


Simhachalam temple authorities have suspended morning seva tickets for suprabhatam and aradhana due to the Covid restrictions. A meeting convened by the executive officer of the temples on Wednesday had decided to restrict darshans from morning 6 am to 7 am. Ticket counters will open at 6 am and close at 6.30 pm.

Free darshan tickets and bus tickets will be issued at Yatra sadan, whereas Rs 100 and Rs 300 tickets will be issued at Sridevi complex. The Temple superintendent will regularly monitor to ensure six feet distance between pilgrims.

It has also been decided to issue tickets as per slots in each hour. As many as 610 free darshan tickets will be given for Rs 100 darshan and 100 tickets for Rs 300 darshan per hour. Devasthana buses will be operated with 50 percent capacity. Persons of above 60 years of age will not be allowed for darshan.
