The future of Sirisha Bhagavatula should go on singing

The talent of Telugu singers is not new in Indian Idol. Telugu singer Sriramchandra won Indian Idol 5. N.C. Karunya was the runner-up in Indian Idol 2. It has always been proven that Telugus can show their singing talent at the national level. However, in the ongoing Indian Idol 12, two Visakha girls are showing their talents. They are Shanmukha Priya, Sirisha Bhagavatula. Of these, Sirisha reached the top 11 and was eliminated two days ago. Shanmukha Priya went into the top ten. Both should be considered dignified.

Sirisha from Visakhapatnam learned music from her grandfather at an early age. While studying engineering in Chennai, she is singing songs in Tamil also. Even at the Indian Idol auditions, Sirisha was acclaimed by the judges as the lead singer of the film ‘Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya’, Kehna Hai Kya (Kannanule). One episode received a standing ovation with the song ‘Jia Jale John Jale’.

It’s not uncommon for the show, which started with 16 singers who are almost hilarious, to reach the top 11. In the episodes attended by celebrities, especially in the presence of Bappilahari, Pyarelal and Udit Narayan, Padi Sirisha showed her talent. Along with Shanmukha Priya, she sang the Hindi version of ‘Chikubuku Chikubuku Riley’ in the episode ‘Hero Govinda’ and received claps.

Sirisha emphatically proven that she can sing songs in comedy and disco apart from melodies from the Indian Idol stage. Sirisha, who has already caught Rahman’s attention and sang in his music in ‘Whistle’, is now likely to sing more good songs with the recognition that came with ‘Indian Idol’. Music directors Vishal, Himesh Reshmia and singer Neha Kakkar are the judges for Indian Idol. Sirisha wants the future to go on as a song.
