Have you ever imagined tying a rakhi with a photo on your brother’s wrist? This season, surprise your brother with personalised rakhi that is creating a buzz in the city among the youngsters. Unlike last year, when quilled rakhis were the fad, this year personalised cum quilled rakhi are trending in the rakhi sphere. Rakhis are also being customised based on themes. To suit the latest demands, photos are cut into different shapes and kundans, stones and pearls are used to give it a traditional touch.
To make the bond of love between siblings sweeter, women entrepreneurs have converted their home-made chocolates to hand-made rakhis and home-made goodies to gift hampers.
Preeti Kaushik, an entrepreneur from the city who runs Preetilicious, said, “This year, for Rakhi, I have prepared assorted goodies hamper which includes brownie, cookies, Rakhi theme cupcakes, Rakhi theme pastry cakes. I have also prepared designer rakhi goodie hampers to mark the eternal bond of love.”
Meghana Jain who runs Frostbite has also prepared some exclusive desserts for the sweet-toothed siblings. Every gift hamper can be personalised depending on the choice of the individual.
Harsha’s sweet treats have been making siblings happy with their variation in hampers like Chocolatic Nutella, Donuts with crunchy cookies, brownies and bookies, floral baskets, etc.
