Prajwal Vani Welfare Society – An organization that works for the cause of differently-abled children from past 12 years has now geared up to celebrate the festival of lights by making beautiful diyas.
The buzz for Diwali has begun with their vocational training programme named ‘Visakha Khushi -Deep’ which is conducted by them every year. The Project Visakha Khushi -Deep will support mentally and physically abled children to make colorful diya’s and candles.
These special children are using their imagination to create colourful and creative diya designs. These Diya’s will be sold in various outlets and shopping malls. This project, every year, helps in raising the funds for the needs of specially-abled children.
“But this year, due to Covid, we are facing challenges with the children coming to our organization for designing and for the stalls to sell the Diya’s. We facilitated the logistics to some of the students to work from their homes for these designs. Now we are requesting Volunteers to come and support us in selling these Diya’s in the stalls. We are planning to set up the stalls at Vizag CMR Central, Visakhapatnam from November 11-13. Diyas and candles are also available in stores like Archies,” stated KVL Suchitra Rao, Founder of Prajwal Vani Welfare Society.
“We would also appreciate it someone can take a step ahead and showcase our products in their offices and housing societies to support us. This year we are also accepting orders online and delivering it to your doorstep. The Link is on our social media pages,” added Suchitra by saying that this organization provides technical education and vocational training to specially-abled children.
