Vana Samrakshana programme held at KGH, Vizag


On the eve of 71st birth anniversary of Late Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, an environmental friendly Vana samrakshana program was conducted in the premises of King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam. There were about 500 various plantations and 50 coconut plants were planted after Hud Hud and on eve of swachh Bharat 2018. Different types of plants were planted at the CSR building also.

All the plantations were successfully protected and two gardeners made the watering and other welfare activity of the plants regularly.

The Superintendent KGH took a pledge from the incoming new employees to work with diligence, dedication and good discipline to the needy patients. He stressed that this is an opportunity for them to serve the patients during the covid-19 epidemic.

The Doctors participated in the vana samrakshana program are Dr.K.Indira Devi, Dy.Superintendent, Dr.K.AnjiBabu, DCSRMO, ARMOs Dr.Ch.Sadhana, Dr.H.R.K.Dora, Dr.P.Bindu Madhavi and Sanitary inspector and other sanitation staff attended.
