Lord Venkateswara temple that is being constructed on the front of Rushikonda beach is one of the much-awaited temples in the city. The temple is getting ready for a grand opening on August 13th. This temple is definitely going to be one of the major tourist attractions in the city in the near future. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has took the construction work of this temple. It was started in 2018.
Some of the rituals regarding the temple like Vigraha prathishta, Maha Samprokshana and Ankurarpana will take place from 9th to 13th of August. After the opening of the temple on 13th, devotees may be allowed to visit the temple. Priests from Tirupathi were asked to visit the temple and perform required rituals for the temple for a week.
Being inspired from the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupathi, the planning and designing of the temple was taken by TTD. Similar to the one in Tirupathi, this temple will also hot Lord Hanuman statue in front of Lord Venkateswara Swamy statue.
A few more things about this temple is that it will be having a meditation room that is going to accommodate around 150 people, and even a banquet hall for conducting marriage ceremonies. It will even have a facility for the devotees where they can take some rest. Ticket booking counter and prasadam counter will be outside the temple.
TTD has laid a ghat road which is 500 meter long for the convenience of the devotees to visit the temple. All the rituals that the priests perform for the deity in Tirupathi will be performed to the deity in this temple as well.
