Week long observation of Vigilance Awareness Week concluded at Waltair Division. It is observed every year and coincides with the birthday of Sri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
During the observation, banners & posters displayed at stations, at various units and at public interface areas to create awareness among the public.
In order to propagate the message, audio jingles on vigilance awareness are played at Stations through PA system, Video clips played in Digital Museums and awareness drives were conducted.
Further, a web-seminar was organized; essay writing, debate & drawing competitions were conducted among the employees. On the conclusion day a Skit named as ‘Vigilant India’ played by Divisional Cultural Association was organized at DRM Office depicting the ill effects of malpractice on personal and social life of a government servant who do not follow the right path.
The skit narrated how the pandemic Covid-19 affected the life of human race which can be stopped with adopting health protocol but the corruption has no limits and even more pathetic than the pandemic.
DRM Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava appreciated the Divisional Cultural team for their brilliant performance in narrating the theme and showcasing their talent. The skit was also witnessed by ADRM (infra) Shri Akshay Saxena, ADRM (operations) Shri P. Ramachandra Rao, Sr. DPO Shri KSN Raju and other branch officers and staff in large number.
