Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has meet PM Narendra Modi today in Delhi. This meeting has lead to the rise of speculations that YSRCP is joining NDA.
Today, this matter is the talk of the state, after CM denied to comment on the outcome of this meeting. Even though the purpose of the visit has nothing to do with the news regarding joining NDA, it is known that this matter is also discussed. Earlier, CM also meet Amit Shah on September 23rd and 24th.
On the other hand, BJP is looking for new partners to join it’s NDA side as Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akali Dal has exited NDA. If YSRCP joins NDA then it’s party candidates will be offered a “Cabinet Minister and a Junior Minister”.
YSRCP has not yet decided on joining the NDA as it would reduce the bargaining power of the state. Also during the 2019 elections, Jagan Mohan Reddy clearly stated that joining NDA is not possible without getting the special status for Andhra Pradesh.
